Calendula is a powerful flowering herb that’s been used for centuries in traditional and holistic medicine to soothe irritated skin, support wound healing, calm inflammation, and more.

We have calendula cream, ointment, and diaper cream we use and love! Lowkey after getting the ointment, I mostly use that. It’s much thicker and more protective than the cream. Mainly I juse use the cream for dry hands now.

Supports wound healing

Calendula supports tissue repair and recovery. We use this on any and all scrapes, cuts, bites, lesions. While mostly in animal studies, this 2019 systematic review found very promising evidence and urged for larger human trials.

Soothes diaper rashes

A trial of 66 babies found that calendula ointment improved overall diaper dermatitis over 10 days, and resulted in fewer diaper rashes than aloe vera cream. We love this diaper cream.

Bug bites

Chronic skin ulcers

In a study of 41 people with diabetic foot ulcers, 78% achieved COMPLETE wound closure during 30 weeks of calendula treatment!!! *important to note there was no control group, so study cannot officially establish how much calendula contributed

Hand foot mouth disease

While no direct human clinical trials, there’s lots of research on calendula’s wound-healing, anti-inflammatory, and skin-soothing properties. And TONS of anecdotal evidence on its support during HFMD.

Sunburns, upset stomachs, ulcers, menstrual cramps, and more!!!
