Best for skin support, not ideal for therapeutic use.

✅Wavelength: 660/850/1060m

✅Red & near infra-red

✅ Flicker free

The two biggest differences I see:

🔔Irradiance: The main difference is real usable power. Bontanny is 75 mW/cm² measured directly on the surface, meaning that number probably drops significantly once you move even a few inches away. LUMEBOX is 125–140 mW/cm² measured slightly off the surface means it’s delivering a much stronger dose in real use (likely 2–3x more powerful overall). A lower-power device like Bontanny can still be great for skin, glow, and gentle daily wellness, but a higher-output device like LUMEBOX is typically better for deeper support like thyroid, inflammation, muscle recovery, and faster therapeutic dosing. I'm also waiting to hear back if their devices are third-party tested for output and safety like LUME's are. But they are FDA approved which requires adhering to strict quality protocols.

🔔EMF: Botany measures 0mG at 3inches away. This is a pretty standard measurement. Some devices will measure from 6 inches away, so it’s better than those. For me, though, I use my RLT device directly on the body 9/10 times and there’s no way to know what the measurement might bump up to once you move closer. LUME measures 2.5mG at 0cm (so literally directly on the skin). For perspective hairdryers emit 60-20,000mG from 3cm away.

This device is going to be more powerful for therapeutic use.

Irradiance:

115mW/cm2 delivered at 6 inches. This is much stronger than their above product. Irradiance is still something I'm wrapping my head around as well, but if I'm understanding correctly this device is very strong and likely maintains higher power a distance, while the LUMEBOX that measures 125–140 mW/cm² closer to the surface and delivers a very strong dose when used directly on the skin

In real-life use, both are therapeutic-level devices and will give similar results for skin, inflammation, thyroid, and muscle recovery. Bontanny may have a slight edge at distance, while LUMEBOX is extremely effective for direct-contact use. I'm also waiting to hear back if their devices are third-party tested for output and safety like LUME's are. But they are FDA approved which requires adhering to strict quality protocols.

🔔EMF: I don't see anywhere on this products page about their EMF testing like I did on the above product. I'm assuming it's probably the same (0mG at 3inches away)? But I am waiting for them to get back to me.
