How to Spot a "Legit" Supplement on Amazon

I never used to be too concerned about "fakes" being sold on Amazon. I knew it happened, but always thought, "how common can it be?" and "surely it's easy to spot." It wasn't until I talked with a brand I work with who personally told me that the only reason they started to sell on Amazon was because dupes of their product were being sold. As soon as they joined, thankfully it stopped.

Anyways, now I'm more mindful.

The main thing to look for is if the item is being sold by the brand/company's storefront, and NOT a third-party.

Here is an example where you can see the item IS sold by the company's storefront.

Here is an example of a third-party sold item

This saline is made by Hudson RCI (Medline). However the “storefront” is AbsorbEase and the “seller” is Pads and More. I actually used to recommend this saline (and I will admit I still use it). When we run out I will try something else out, BUT it is third party sold and is a great example. Because of this, I'm no longer recommending.
